    Get on a plane and go to Beijing

  • Day : 2 Beijing

    Arrive into Beijing. After clearing customs and retrieving your baggage, you will be met by the local guide. Transfer to your hotel to check in.

  • Day : 3 Beijing

    After breakfast, your Beijing tour starts with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the world's largest public square. Later, proceed to the Forbidden City, where for over 500 years, commoners were forbidden to enter. Tour the Summer Palace in the afternoon, the summer home of the emperors and their royal family. Stop at the National Grand Theater and Qianmen Street for a visit before tonight's dinner at a local restaurant.

  • Day : 4 Beijing

    Built to protect its people from northern marauders, the Great Wall snakes its way through thousands of miles across Northern China. This morning, you will spend time walking atop this man-made wonder of the world and appreciate its imposing wonder. After the Great Wall, your next destination is the Olympic Park where there will be a photo stop at some new attractions, including the "Bird's Nest" National Stadium and "Water Cube" Aquatics Center. Tonight, indulge yourself with the famous Peking Duck for dinner.

  • Day : 5 Beijing - Xian

    Depart for an early morning visit to the Temple of Heaven to experience the place of worship of the emperors. After, take a short flight to Xian, the ancient capital of China. Xian is the historic starting point of the famed Silk Road, Xian's history encompasses the entirety of Chinese civilization, a fact that its proud citizens are not remiss to impress upon us. Tonight's dinner will be at the hotel.

  • Day : 6 Xian

    Xian is home to the life-sized Terracotta Wariors and Horses of Qin Shi Huang. Made to protect China's first emperor even in death, the Terracotta Army was found by a farmer in 1974 and attracts thousands of visitors each year. After viewing the fine troops, visit the nearby Mausoleum of Qinshihuang and then return back to the city limits for a view of the Old City Wall. After an Imperial Dumpling Banquet dinner, you will be entertained by the Tang Dynasty Show performers.

  • Day : 7 Xian - Hangzhou

    After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a short flight to Hangzhou with a stop at the Big Wild Goose Pagoda before you arrive at the airport. China's poets have praised Hangzhou, likening it to a paradise on earth. This evening, a local famous cuisine is served for dinner.

  • Day : 8 Hangzhou - Wuxi

    Your Hangzhou sightseeing tour starts with a scenic cruise on the famous West Lake, followed by visits to tow of the ten most beautiful sites around West Lake, "Fish Viewing at the Flower Pond" and "Winery Yard and Lotus Pool." Later, visit the famous Dragon Well Tea Garden where the best tea varieties, sets, service and customs are on display. Travel to Wuxi in the afternoon. Tonight's dinner features the local favorite ribs.

    This morning, visit the beautiful Yuantoudu Park and Lake Tai, the third largest lake in China. Depart for Suzhou, a picturesque city known as the "Venice of the East." Built around the Grand Canal, Suzhou's many excellent classical gardens have entitled Suzhou the "Garden City." After a Suzhou local cuisine lunch, tour the city, visiting the Lingering Garden and Hanshan Temple, overlooking Tiger Hill. Complete your tour of the city with a visit to a local Silk Factory before departing for Shanghai.

    Shanghai is China's largest city with a population of over 14 million. After visiting the Shanghai Museum, the remainder of the day is free at leisure to venture into the city on your own. This evening, attend an exciting Chinese Acrobatics Show followed by a Shanghainese dinner.
