Thailand - Singapore - Malasia 13 Days Tour
Passenger will take the EVA flight to Chiang Mai, Thailand, layover at Taipei, Taiwan.
Upon arrival, tour guide will pick you up at the airport and go to visit some interesting places in Chiang Mai. The must go temple of Chiang Mai, Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep,This temple was built in 1383. It is 3,500 feet above sea level. See the marvelous golden pagoda, which is containing the holy relics of Lord Buddha. This temple and its golden chedi attract Buddhist pilgrims from all over the world throughout a year. You can enjoy the panoramic view of Chiang Mai City and Ping valley from the summit of Doi Suthep. Transfer to the hotel. Pick up at 6.45pm. Leave for Northern Thailand food call “Khan Toke Dinner” Enjoy the Northern dance show and after dinner see the hill tribes’ show.
08.00 Am. Depart for the highest mountain in Thailand "Doi Inthanon' on the way up we will visit Wachiritharn and Siritharn Waterfalls and the agricultural work at the Royal Project Research Station, the king and queen chedi's, (the best views across the park are found here), then on to the peak of Doi Inthanon the highest mountain in Thailand. Near the top we will take the Angkha nature walk where you can walk amongst the unique flora and forest at this altitude. There are both Karen and Hmong villages in the bounds of Doi Inthanon and we will see a Karen village on the way down the mountain before making our way back to Chiang Mai. Arrive at 05.00 pm.
Check out from hotel and at 08.00 am. Meet your tour guide and depart from Chiang Mai for an orchid farm where there are more than 50 spicy of an orchid. Next to Mae Ta Man elephant camp to enjoy an elephant show and riding for an hour then do ox-cart. Break for lunch and do Bamboo floating along the river (No rough) then continue the trip to the Thaton temple the great of the area. Here we will see a big Buddha image on top of the hill and a great view of Burma also the view of the Kok River that runs through the rice paddy. Continue drive on to the biggest Orange Farm in Thailand where we can stop by for testing of fresh orange juice and fresh orange. Leave to a home of hill tribes people e.g. Akha, Palong also Karen Long Necked then driving up on the hilly road to Chinese Village of Doi Maesalong (Ex Kuomintang) Touring around the area see some nice spot up on the mountain. Dinner at a local restaurant
Leave at 09.00am then we will visit local market and this market will making us feel like we are in China not in Thailand. We may experience seeing the tribal people coming along with their donkey carrying product from the farm to sell at the market. Then drive and make a stop by tea shop where it comes from their farm and they will offer us to try their tea….Tea test!!! Continue driving on the mountain road and down through the valley with enjoy stunning of view, then stop by Monkey temple and the bustling at Mae Sai the Thai/ Burma border. We will continue drive along the Mae Khong river to have lunch by the Mae Khong riverside with a great view of Golden Triangle, where the 3 countries of Thailand/ Laos /and Burma meet. After having lunch we will enjoy the boat ride to visit Laos (one big boat or two speed boat with fun) local market in Laos then continue to ancient city of Chiang Sean, and the city is over 1200 year old Chedi and city wall. Proceed to the great Black House and the great White Temple of Chiang Rai, constructing by the Thailand's National artists. Here we can walk around and get some nice picture as well as shop for some souvenirs and the painting and return to Chiang Mai.
Visit the 3 Major Temple in the old town, go to local market and then having lunch. After lunch, have free time for shopping. After that, tour will transfer you to airport, depart flight to Singapore. Upon arrival, transfer from airport to hotel, check-in Hotel.
After having breakfast at hotel, you will have full day city tour. Singapore city tour starts in the Civic District, where you’ll see government buildings and other landmarks such as the Parliament House, the Cricket Club, Padang sports field and the National Gallery Singapore, where the former Supreme Court Building and City Hall sit. Then stop for a view of Marina Bay and photo of the Merlion statue, Singapore’s mythological figure that’s half-fish, half-lion. Next, visit Chinatown and Little India, where you can take in the lively atmosphere and delicious scents coming out of the many Indian restaurants. The next stop to visit is Sentosa Island by Singapore Cable Car. Hop aboard your cabin to enjoy views of the city skyline, Marina Bay and Sentosa Island as you glide above the waters of the harbor to reach the island. You’ll stop at the summit of Mt Faber, 347 feet (106 meters) high, for photo ops on the way. . Then visit the Butterfly Park and Insect Kingdom for an up-close look at beautiful winged creates who flit about the lush landscape. This outdoor attraction simulates a tropical rainforest, where interactive exhibits allow you to peer closely at ladybirds, big beetles and other exotic insects. Your last visit is the S.E.A. Aquarium. Discover multiple marine habitats in the world’s oceans with up-close views of more than 800 animal species, including at least 200 sharks. Explore coral reefs, shipwrecks and the Discovery Touch Pool, and learn about ocean predators — from the Great Lakes of East Africa to the South China Sea!
After having breakfast at hotel, you will have free time until departure to Malacca, Malaysia by bus. Malacca is the seat of the 15th century Malay Sultanate, which was colonized by the Portuguese, Dutch and British conquerors who sought to control the whole region and the lucrative spice trade. Malacca is a quiet town but history abounds. Walk the streets where Malay folk heroes such as Hang Tuah once did around 1400 A.D. Visit historical sites such as St Paul Hill, St Paul Church, St Francis Xavier Statue and Jonker Street. End of the day, you will be transferred to hotel, stay overnight at Malacca.
After breakfast, check out hotel and head to visit Putrajaya. Tour goes to central Putrajaya to see the city’s architectural landmarks, starting with the Putra Mosque, whose rose-pink domes tower above the city skyline. Take in Perdana Putra, the ‘White House of Malaysia,’ which houses the prime minister’s office and government agencies. Next, tour will go to Kuala Lumpur and visit KLCC Petronas Tower, Bukit Bintang, Bintang Walk and Pavilion Shopping Mall. After the tour, check in hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
After breakfast, tour will head to Genting Highlands, en-route Batu Caves with a short visit (30 ~ 35 minutes). Dress Code for visiting Batu Caves (a Holy place for Hindu faith, PLEASE respect), wear comfortable (not over expose your body). T-shirt or shirt with sleeves is fine. Do not waer Short Pants or Hot Pants. Do not wear Short Skirts or Mini Skirts (above knee level). Long Pants are fine. After visiting Batu Caves, leave Batu Caves for Genting Highlands, the drive will take around 30 minutes, cutting through Rainforest. Upon reaching the Highlands, if the casino isn’t your game, then take the time off to enjoy the attractions of the indoor and outdoor theme parks instead. Many rides with descriptive names such as ‘Corkscrews’, ‘Euro Express Roller’, ‘Turbo Drop’ and ‘Sky Venture’ are available, giving you the ride of your life up in the air! The Sky Venture simulates actual skydiving without the risks. Meanwhile, you can also take a walk around the peak and enjoy the crisp and cool mountain air. End of the day, you will be transferred back to hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
Today you will go to visit Ipoh city. The British colonial city of Ipoh had humble beginnings, but has blossomed into a beautiful cityscape that marries old-world charm with modern amenities. This is a foodie's city, offering endless street stalls and restaurants all eager to serve up a sample of mouthwatering local fare. Walk it all off on a jaunt through breathtaking limestone caves that seem carved by the capable hands of a higher power. Tour will visit Concubine Lane, Ipoh Old Town and Pamelo Street. After tour, you will be back to hotel at Kuala Lumpur.
After pickup from hotel, head to Independence Square, Kuala Lumpur City Garden and the King’s Palace (Istana Negara) to discover Malaysia’s regal side. Next come to the National Museum, and then National Mosque. Finish today tour by visiting local product outlet, then return to hotel.
After breakfast, you have free time until departure to airport. Our discovery of Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia at an end, board your international flight again back to the USA.
