Day : 1 Hawaii
Leave Hilo in the morning for the Waipio valley, where the first King of Hawaii Kamehameha grew up. Enjoy the breathtaking view at the Waipio Valley lookout point, a short walk on the hiking trail enhances your experience. A recommended optional specialized 4WD vehicle down to the canyon floor, experience the prinstine rain forest valley with a chance to see the highest waterfall on the island of Hawaii, Hiilawe Falls (height: 1472 ft). It takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Next, we will have lunch in the beautiful town of Waimea, where you can enjoy grass fed beef from local pastures. After lunch, we are going to the ocean front Temple of Hawaii Kingdom, built with bare hands since about 1580, named Pu'ukohola Heiau, meaning "Temple on the Hill of the Whale". There is a chance to see whales (from Dec. to Apr.). Last stop at Hapuna Beach (White Sand Beach), the world’s ten most beautiful beaches for ten consecutive years. It is also the largest natural white sand beach in the Hawaiian Islands. Return to Hilo hotel in the evening, or transfer to airport.
