• Day : 1 Los Angeles – Urumqi

  Aboard the flight across the Pacific Ocean to Urumqi the capital city of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of P.R.China

• Day : 2 Arrival in Urumqi

  Arrival in Urumqi, pick up and transfer to the hotel after check-in rest well after the long flight.

• Day : 3 Urumqi – Kanas Lake - Hemu

  Travel by air to Kanas in the morning. Upon arrival take the bus to Hemu Village, it is a small village situated in Kanas Nature Reserve in Altay. It is the most remote and largest of the three habitats of the Tuvas, an ethnic group that still lives a simple, ancient lifestyle by grazing animals and hunting. Moreover, Hemu Village is widely considered the most beautiful village in China because of its fascinating natural beauty in autumn. The wooden houses, the Hemu River, the bridge, and the Birch Forest can make feel like walking in an oil painting.

• Day : 4 Hemu – Kanas

  Kanas Lake is one of the most impressive sights in North Xinjiang. It is in one of the most remote border areas, where China converges with Russia, Kazakhstan, and Mongolia. The finger-shaped lake covers 45 square kilometers and has an average depth of 120 meters, making it the deepest freshwater lake in China. During most of the year, the water in the lake remains a dazzling turquoise, and its color changes according to the season and the weather conditions.

• Day : 5 Kanas – Urumqi

  Continuing to visit Kanas Nature Reserve, the Crouching Dragon Bay, and the Moon Bay attraction alluring many photographers, virgin forests, and puppy grassland combined with clear green watermark the whole area a paradise. Finish visits take a domestic flight back to Urumqi.

• Day : 6 Urumqi – Turpan

  Turpan is a Xinjiang travel highlight because the culture is still mostly Uighur, there are several historical sites and places of unusual natural scenery close by it. The Karez Well System, is an important ancient irrigation system that is still used today, The tunnel system provides water for local people to drink as well as to water their crops.   In the morning, take the speed train to Dunhuang. Dunhuang is an important stop on the ancient Silk Road, the “world’s four ancient civilizations” of China, India, Greece, and Islam co-mingled there, making Dunhuang an international stage full of exotic customs and ancient legends. Upon arrival, visit Dunhuang Museum, On the road to Singing Sands Dune is this sparkling museum that takes you on an artefact-rich journey through the Dunhuang area (from prehistoric to Qing dynasty times) via hallways designed to make you feel as if you were exploring the caves.

  The Mogao Caves are famous for their exquisite murals and Buddhist statues. The Mogao Caves were included in UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage list in 1987. Artists from different periods of the Middle Ages left their work there. All kinds of works spanning over one thousand years complement each other. Standing out in the desert, the Mogao Caves are like a glittering pearl that adorns the Silk Road.

  In the morning, Enjoy the desert on the Singing Sand Mountain the desert meets the oasis
  most spectacularly. From the sheer scale of the dunes, it’s easy to see how Dunhuang gained its moniker ‘Shāzhōu’ (Continent of Sand). The view across the undulating desert and green poplar trees below is awesome. Camel riding is the best way to visit. The Crescent Spring is located at the foot of the Singing Sand Mountains.   Jiayuguan, the western terminus of the Great Wall. It is not only the western starting point of the Great Wall but also a vital pass on the ancient Silk Road. It is the joining place of the cultures of the Silk Road and the Great Wall. Built-in 1372, it was named the ‘Impregnable Defile Under Heaven’.   Zhangye Danxia National Geopark, The swirling orange, yellow, white, and brown lunar landscape of this national park is the result of sandstone and mineral deposits that have eroded into odd shapes throughout millennia. Infrastructure was installed inside the park after it was named a national geopark in 2011, making it – for better or worse – very accessible to tourists. Wooden stairs and platforms allow visitors to reach the tops of the hills without damaging the delicate landscape and offer views over the colored strata.
