Lanzhou is the capital of Gansu Province with 2000 years of history. A boat excursion take to Liujiaxia Dam and Binglingsi Grottoes, it is one of China's big ancient Buddhist temple complexes with an array of statuary and frescoes dating from about AD 420 to the Ming Dynasty. Rainbow Mountain - Zhangye Danxia National Geological Park. The Park is in the eastern foothills of the Qilian Mountains in Gansu Province. The danxia landforms are a masterpiece of nature, the colorful mountain ridges are just like an overturned palette from heaven. has lots of precipitous red cliffs, most of which are several hundred meters high, and multicolored ridges of weathered strata, sometimes stretching to the horizon.

Day : 8 TURPAN - URUMQI
Turpan is a Xinjiang travel highlight because the culture is still mostly Uighur, there are several historical sites and places of unusual natural scenery close by it. The Karez Well System, is an important ancient irrigation system that is still used today, The tunnel system provides water for local people to drink as well as to water their crops. The Disappearing City of Earth – The Jiaohe Ruins. Enjoy the fruit feast lunch. After that back to Urumqi, the capital of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and the world’s most “inland” city. This evening we enjoy a traditional roast lamb dinner banquet.

Day : 12 KASHGAR – KARAKULI LAKE
The high mountain lake is about 4.8 square kilometers in area. The lake is a travel destination since the surrounding mountains are so high -- approaching the height of Mount Everest, the scenery is rugged and beautiful, and the lake is next to the Karakoram Highway that links Kashgar and Pakistan. The lake has a maximum depth of 242 meters. This makes it reflect the surrounding mountains and gives it a variety of hues depending on the weather.

Kashgar is the westmost city in China, with a history of over 2,000 years, it served as a main node of communications along the ancient Silk Road. The Old City is the Seoul of Kashger, made of yellow mud bricks standing on a small hill, traditional beautiful Islamic and Uyghur Architecture. Inside the old city are many buildings hundreds of years old. Most are two or three stories tall. Idgar Mosque is one of the largest mosques in China. It is extremely popular among the Muslims in Xinjiang. Abadk Khoja Tomb (Xiangfei Tomb) is a famous attraction in Kashgar. named after an emperor's beautiful concubine during the Qing Dynasty.
