Day : 2 Beijing City tour
Tiananmen Square’s monuments and halls: Tiananmen Square, located in the heart of Beijing, China, is a site of immense historical significance. It’s one of the largest public squares globally, renowned for its grandeur and beauty. An iconic symbol of China’s political power, it is bordered by the Great Hall of the People and the mausoleum of Chairman Mao Zedong. The square’s northern edge leads to the Forbidden City, the former imperial palace. As a first-time visitor, you will be struck by the square’s vastness, solemn monuments, and its role in China’s history.

Forbidden City: The Forbidden City was the palatial heart of China. It is an imperial palace complex of the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368–1912) in Beijing, China. As one of the five most important palaces in the world, the grand halls and walls proudly display the essence and culmination of traditional Chinese architecture, fitting for the capital city of the world's largest nation.
Summer Palace: A marvel of Chinese garden design and one of Beijing's must-see attractions, the Summer Palace was the royal retreat for emperors fleeing the suffocating summer torpor of the old imperial city and, most recently, it was the retirement playground of Empress Dowager Cixi. It merits an entire day’s exploration, although a (high-paced) morning or afternoon exploring its waterways, pavilions, bridges, and temples may suffice.
Temple of Heaven: Built-in 1420 with a total area of 270 acres, this is the largest building for religious worship in China, which was originally used by the Ming and Qing emperors to pay homage to Heaven and to pray for a year of rich harvest.

Day : 3 The Great Wall tour
The Great Wall: Coiling its way through 23 degrees of longitude, the Great Wall stands as an awe-inspiring monument to the grandeur of China’s ancient history. With sections dating back 2000 years, the wall (or, more accurately, walls, because they belong to several different eras) wriggle haphazardly from their scattered Manchurian remains in Liaoning province to wind-scoured rubble in the Gobi desert and faint traces in the unforgiving sands of Xinjiang. Interspersed with natural defenses (such as precipitous mountains), the Great Wall can be visited in 15 Chinese provinces, principalities, and autonomous regions, but nowhere is better than Beijing for mounting your assault on this most iconic of bastions.

The Ming Tombs: Established according to feng shui in the cradle of Tianshou Mountain, this auspicious swath of nature was walled off by the Ming to house the mausolea of no less than 13 emperors. Only three tombs can be visited at the time of research although grand plans have been put forward to restore and open all 13 to the public.
